“Wonderful sea view”

Beautiful house with amazing views of the sea and surrounding fields. Fantastic views from all the rooms and wonderful to open up the doors onto a lovely outside dining area for breakfast. The close proximity of what we consider to be the best beach in the area was a bonus as was the very short walk to The Sloop Inn. The food and atmosphere was so good we ate there every evening. The house was very well equipped, very comfortable and in a perfect setting.

“Great family holiday”

My family and I stayed at this fantastic house with another family (8 in total). We have young children and the house was perfect. So much safe space for the kids to run about in while the adults can relax with beautiful views, al fresco dining and a nice glass of vino! Highly recommended.

“One of the nicest locations in Bantham”

We booked Sloopside as a last minute holiday and had a brilliant time! The house provided perfect accommodation for us, our children and three grandchildren and we all hope to visit again! The views over to Burgh Island, watching the changing colours of the sea and the surfers from the balcony and exploring the beach were highlights. Having the pub so close was also great as the food was good and catered well for families. The Gastrobus at the beach car park was also brilliant!

“Superbly comfortable”

Our second stay in Sloopside and as wonderful as ever. The Annexe is fabulous: equipped to a very high standard, exquisitely clean, superbly comfortable with a spacious, safe and child friendly garden. The views of the sea and Burgh Island, we could never tire of! Everything we need in walking distance: beautiful beach plus Gastrobus, shop and pub. A perfect family holiday!

“Excellent spacious property”

Sloopside was ideal for our family group spanning the ages. An excellent spacious property having many mod cons and nice touches, including a welcoming cream tea on arrival. The house enjoys stunning views of the bay; we all unwound. It’s close to the beautiful beach for surfers and body boarders, and to the coastal path for walkers. Lovely pub food and good beer close to hand, we rarely used the car.
