{"id":3349,"date":"2015-03-25T09:12:50","date_gmt":"2015-03-25T09:12:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sloopside.co.uk\/?page_id=3349"},"modified":"2015-05-06T18:46:35","modified_gmt":"2015-05-06T17:46:35","slug":"further-afield","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.sloopside.co.uk\/?page_id=3349","title":{"rendered":"Further Afield"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Further Afield<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are a great number and variety of places of interest to visit and things to do, especially during the summer in the region. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitdartmoor.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dartmoor National Park<\/a> is about half an hour inland, and there are also a number of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/article-1356392732232\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Trust<\/a> properties in Devon.<\/p>\n<p>Other local towns worth visiting for shopping, eating and a wander round are: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitmodbury.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Modbury<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totnesinformation.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Totnes<\/a> which has a lively Saturday market, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ashburton.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ashburton<\/a> and the estuary towns of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salcombeinformation.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Salcombe<\/a> (very busy in summer) and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.discoverdartmouth.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dartmouth<\/a>.
