Apart from The Sloop Inn<\/a><\/em>, there are many great places to eat out around the area. Here are a few of our favourites\u2026<\/p>\n

Seafood: The Seahorse<\/em><\/a> \u00a0in Dartmouth, The Oyster Shack<\/em><\/a> at Bigbury, The Anchorstone<\/a><\/em> at Dittisham and The Beach House<\/em><\/a> at South Milton Sands \u2013 also a great place to stop for a bacon sandwich when walking the coastal path.<\/p>\n

Gastropubs: The Millbrook Inn<\/em> <\/a>at South Pool<\/p>\n

Family friendly: The Crabshell Inn<\/a><\/em> on the banks of the estuary in Kingsbridge is open daily all year, serving food from midday onwards; The Winking Prawn<\/em><\/a> at North Sands, Salcombe is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, during the season. It\u2019s fun and relaxed \u2013 great for families with children.<\/p>\n

Wild Artichokes<\/a> in Kingsbridge is run by chef Jane Baxter, formerly of the Riverford Kitchen. They run cookery demos and regular lunch and dinner feasts at their premises in Kingsbridge.<\/p>\n

Jean-Philippe Bidart, otherwise know as\u00a0Le Guest Chef\u00a0<\/a> and formerly\u00a0Head Chef at The Millbrook Inn, can cater for those who want to eat in but prefer not too cook.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>
